Synopsis

Filmmaker Bianca Nyavingi Brynda explores the roots of the Rastafari culture from a female perspective, examining the movement's various incarnations in Jamaica, Guyana, South America and Canada. Along the way, the documentary also profiles prominent Rastafarian figures, including spiritual leader Emperor Haile Selassie, freedom fighter Marcus Garvey and reggae legend Bob Marley.
