Synopsis by Jinko Labitag
In 1975 Argentina, Claudio (Dario Grandinetti), a well-respected lawyer, sits inside a fancy restaurant, idly waiting for his wife, Susana, (Andrea Frigerio) to arrive. Suddenly, a stranger (Diego Cremonesi) starts castigating him for taking up space and demands that he be seated instead. Claudio complies, only to berate his attacker back. The tension escalates and ends up in a bloody conclusion. When Detective Sinclair (Alfredo Castro) comes to the country three months later to investigate a missing person’s case, Claudio finds his life unraveling. Written and directed by Benjamin Naishtat.
