Synopsis by Mark Deming
While they were a few years away from international superstardom, in 1977 AC/DC were already one of the world's great hard rock bands, playing with a streamlined force and sweaty passion than connected like a kick in the teeth without any of the posing or gimmicks which would befall many of their heavy metal brethren. Rock Masters: AC/DC preserves a show videotaped by the BBC in 1977 at London's Hippodrome Theater, which features original vocalist Bon Scott three years before his untimely death. Songs include "Whole Lotta Rosie," "Let There Be Rock," and many more.
