Synopsis by Mark Deming

One of the truly great figures of the British folk music scene, Robin Williamson first gained fame as the leader of the influential group The Incredible String Band, and as a solo artist had melded British and Celtic traditional melodies and verses with his own strikingly beautiful songwriting. Robin Williamson In Concert finds Williamson in fine form during a 1993 performance; selections include "Tristan and Iseult", "The Deserter", "The Lark In The Morning", "Verses At Powis", "The Parting Glass", and more.
