The Opera Royal de Wallonie in Wallonia, Belgium mounted this 2012 stage production of Gaetano Donizetti's one-act farcical opera Rita, ou Le mari battu, originally performed posthumously in 1860. The cast includes Priscille Laplace as Rita, Aldo Caputo as Peppe and Alberto Rinaldi as Gaspar. The Orchestra of the Opera Royal de Wallonie, under the baton of Claudio Scimone, lends symphonic accompaniment. Fernand Ruiz created the costumes, and Jean-Guy Lecat designed the sets.
