"Ride Like a Girl is a sports drama that recounts the life story of Michelle Payne (Teresa Palmer), the first female racer to win the Melbourne Cup, as well as the story of her father and racehorse trainer, Paddy Payne (Sam Neill), a single parent who raised her and her nine brothers. Despite tragedy and opposition, Michelle perserveres to win against all odds.
