Synopsis by Janiss Garza
When Edgar Rice Burroughs struck paydirt with his book, Tarzan of the Apes, he wrote a sequel. So it follows that when Burroughs' original tome found success as a motion picture, a sequel would arrive in short order. This time around, Gene Pollar is the hero who has left his ape family and the jungle for civilization. But it's a jungle there too, with thugs and bad guys taking the place of the ferocious wild animals. Tarzan winds up back in the forest, battling both with his bare hands and brute force. In the end, the villains are soundly thrashed, while Tarzan stays in the jungle where he belongs with the ever-faithful Jane (Karla Schramm) by his side.
