The Swiss experience is dissected in this documentary through closely observing the lives of a number of different individuals -- one of whom is not even Swiss but is an Italian living just over the border. One man has been charged with the task of keeping track of all the country's national treasures and ensuring that they are stored for safekeeping in an underground bunker in the event of a nuclear attack. Another is an Italian who maintains a diorama or three-dimensional model of Swiss landscapes for the edification of tourists. Yet another is an old-fashioned woman who refuses to leave her home, despite advancing years.
