A devoted daughter returns home to care for her ailing father, and finds that she may have been too quick to leave the country in this tender family drama starring Burt Reynolds and LeAnn Rimes). Upon receiving word that her father Wade's health is failing, Holly (Rimes) hastily comes to his aid. But life in her southern hometown isn't nearly as exciting as it is in the city, and as Wade (Reynolds) turns to fishing to forget his problems, the young girl starts to grow restless. Later, when Jay (Shawn Roberts) comes to town, Holly has second thoughts about racing back to the concrete jungle.
