Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Photographer Anne Norda makes her feature directorial debut with this sexually charged drama concerning a pair of married artists who are forced to confront their unfulfilled desires after a sexually ambiguous nude model prompts a sexual and spiritual awakening. The toast of the art world due to her signature blood paintings, Mary Shaw (Irina Bjorklund) is experiencing the kind of fame that her husband David Stellar (Peter Franzen) could only hope for. While Mary's paintings are vivid and provocative, David's realistic nudes simply aren't hip enough to get him a gallery show. Stubbornly refusing his change his style, David continues work on his latest painting - a smoldering portrait of seductive blue-eyed blonde Julie Belle (Eliza Pryor Nagel. Her curiosity about her husband's latest subject piqued, Mary begins to develop a casual relationship with Julie that quickly blossoms into something more due to the model's free spirit and unguarded honesty. Meanwhile, as Mary's relationship with Julie grows increasingly intimate, David struggles to avoid temptation and keep his crumbling marriage intact. Just as Mary begins to question her carefully constructed existence, however, Julie's duplicitous mask of detachment comes off, plunging all three into a precarious state of emotional chaos and forcing them to consider what it truly means to be free.
