Burton uses the informative book by Rose Wyler as a guide as he beachcombs. The naturalists provide commentary as he investigates mangrove swamps and underwater grass beds. In the review segment, youngsters analyze the merits of Is This a House for Hermit Crab?, The Seashore Book, and What's Inside?.
