Synopsis by Nathan Southern

The thrash metal band Raven rose to heights of acclaim on the crest of the "New Wave" of British Heavy Metal, from their inception in late seventies Newcastle, England, through their 1981 debut EP Rock Until You Drop, the 1982 EP Wiped Out, and 1983's EP All for One. As the decade rolled on, the group's rabid following declined, and the band never quite lived up to the initial promise of its golden age, but by then, Raven had already made an indelible impression on the metal world. The film Raven: For the Future travels back to the early eighties halcyon days of Raven, with rare in-concert performance footage of the group covering four huge hits: "Rock Until You Drop," "Chainsaw," "Crash Bang Wallop" and "For the Future."
