As individual musicians, Ruby Braff and Ralph Sutton were formidable talents, but place them together, and the result was pure musical magic. Though Braff and Sutton took the stage together many times over the course of their enduring professional relationship, a commercially available record of their performances together was sorely lacking until this release featuring two late-career performances by the talented pair. The first performance, captured on video by Don Wolff at the Mid-American Jazz Festival in St. Louis, Missouri in 1988, finds Braff and Sutton turning in three lively sets that feature such tunes as "Jeepers Creepers", "Rockin' Chair, and "Body and Soul". The second performance, again captured by Wolff, was shot at the 2001 March of Jazz party presented by Arbors Records. This was Braff and Sutton's final performance together, and highlights including "Tea for Two", "Gone with the Wind", and "I Can't Give You Anything but Love".
