Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Violet Mersereau does her usual rambunctious turn in this action picture. Tatters (Mersereau) has been raised by Crazy Anne (Grace Barton) in the shadow of the Tilson iron mines. Anne has told Tatters that her mother was a queen, and the girl takes this to heart. Unfortunately, the other youngsters, children of the miners, don't take her so seriously. There is unrest at the mines, fostered by the drunkard, Lem Braxton (Charles Slattery). Tilson (Donald Hall) sends his secretary, David Grant (Frank Otto), to take care of matters, but Braxton knocks him unconscious. Grant is found by Tatters, who takes care of him. Tilson locates his secretary and they discuss business in the superintendent's shack, situated on the side of a steep hill. Braxton saws through the shack's props, intending to pull it down the hill, but Tatters finds him and her cries bring the men out the door just as the structure goes over the cliff. Tatters is hurt, and while she is recuperating, Tilson discovers that she is his long-lost daughter. And it turns out she was the child of royalty, after a fashion -- a newspaper clipping refers to Tilson as the "king of finance," and his actress wife as the "queen of Bohemia."
