Synopsis by Nathan Southern
For Moussa (Djedje Apali) a young man born and raised in Burkina Faso, life's journey brings a sudden and most unexpected crossroads to navigate. Since childhood, Moussa's sphere of familiarity has been confined to the West African village in which he was raised, and where he now resides with his parents and wife. But suddenly, unexpected, overwhelming problems arise - specifically, a drought that threatens to render Moussa's life in the hamlet impossible. Above all else, Moussa feels compelled to support his needy family, and the village elders corroborate his instinct that a move to Europe - with a more lucrative job - will provide the means to do this. Txarli Llorente and Omer Oke co-direct.
