Synopsis by Josh Ralske

Michael (Hal Sparks), despite his doubts about the viability of long-term relationships, continues to date David (Chris Potter). They run into Debbie (Sharon Gless), Michael's mother, who, despite Michael's protestations, invites them to dinner. Justin's mother, Jennifer (Sherry Miller), tells his father, Craig (John Furey), that Justin(Randy Harrison) is gay, and Craig can't accept it. They confront Justin about his relationship with Brian (Gale Harold), and he tells them he's in love. Brian shows up at Michael's just before his date with David, but their dinner at Debbie's goes well, and David invites Michael away for the weekend. Michael is still worried that David will stop liking him if they spend too much time together. At David's cabin, Michael finds a photo of David's ex-wife, and David explains his former life. He says he's telling Michael everything because he doesn't want to lie to the people he loves anymore. Meanwhile, Brian is not having any fun back in town, and Ted (Scott Lowell) says it's because he misses his "audience of one." Leaving a club, Brian is hit from behind by another driver, who smashes into his car twice and speeds away. Craig threatens to send Justin away to boarding school. Justin points out that no matter what Craig does, "I'll still be your queer son." When Michael calls later to tell Brian how much fun he's having, Brian tells him about the accident and Michael tells David they have to go home. When they get back to town, they find Brian in high spirits, which leaves David feeling frustrated and jealous. He decides to confront Brian about his feelings for Michael.
