This slow-moving Yugoslav drama about a woman in a mental institution is both written and directed by Sime Simatovic and is based on a play by Milan Begovich. The interned woman has led a lonely life, never having had a lover or husband, never even having loved at all. One night she falls asleep and dreams a dream that unfolds as the story itself. She is happily married to a wonderful husband and they go through life together until circumstances lead to tragedy -- both inside and outside of the dream.
