Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A swashbuckling musketeer cat named Pero has committed the ultimate crime, and now he must elude authorities with the help of a little boy looking to escape his cruel family in the film originally released in the U.S. as The Wonderful World of Puss 'n Boots and featuring key animation by the legendary Hayao Miyazaki. Selfless Pero has rescued a group of desperate mice from certain doom, but three bumbling police cats have seen his unforgivable transgression and now they are determined to bring the courageous feline to justice. When Pero meets up with a young boy named Pierre whose suffering at the hands of his two cruel brothers has become too intolerable to bear, the pair decides to strike out on their own and seek their fortune in the court of the King who is currently searching for a suitable husband to marry his beautiful daughter. Convinced by Pero to pose as a prince in an attempt to win the heart of the lovely Princess Rose, Pierre finds himself falling for the girl just as the villainous Lucifer swoops in to kidnap her. Now Pero and Pierre must strike out for the ultimate adventure as they journey to Lucifer's labyrinthine castle and do battle with his treacherous minions in order to save the frightened princess and restore peace to a land consumed by chaos.
