Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Alan Cumming narrates filmmaker Joseph Mantegna's playful look at Provincetown Harbor, Massachusetts, a popular artist's community and vacation destination for the LGBT community thanks to such gay-friendly events as "Family Week" (where same-sex couples are encouraged to vacation with their children), the popular AIDS fundraiser "Swim for Life", and "Carnival Week" - and last blast of summer where anything goes. In addition to exploring some of the bustling harbor town's most popular LGBT events, the filmmakers also reveal that it was Provincetown Harbor - not Plymouth - where thye Pilgrims first arrived in the New World in 1620. Additional interviews with authors Norman Mailer and Michael Cunningham offer colorful insight into an accepting community that welcomes people of all genders, races, and sexual preferences with open arms.
