Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this children's fantasy and adventure drama, a baby boy is mysteriously deposited in the woods and is soon adopted by a woodsman as his own. They live happily together until the boy reaches his pre-teens, when he becomes restless and goes out into the forest alone. As soon as he leaves, his adoptive father goes blind. Out in the woods, the boy meets with several strange creatures, including a lovable long-haired monster who carries a magic fork. The two of them battle many adversities together, and a few daunting enemies (including the Lord of Darkness), but eventually the boy returns home to his adoptive father, whom he loves, and restores his sight.
