Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Protect Us was another "anti-vice" effort in the tradition of Universal's Traffic in Souls. Led astray by a city slicker, the immigrant heroine has no recourse but to enter into a life of prostitution. She goes to work at a brothel which enjoys the protection of several high-powered city officials. While it is too late to save the heroine, other susceptible young damsels are spared her fate through the intervention of a racket-busting district attorney. Outside of the actor who played the wayward girl's father, the cast members of Protect Us delivered amateurish performances, diminishing the film's overall effectiveness.
