A young couple wages a vicious war against their wealthy new landlord in the French Alps after he continually relocates them while claiming that their new home is not yet suitable for occupancy. With each new move, the patience and goodwill initially exhibited by the young couple begins to erode. Later, their anger turns to envy after seeing just how well their landlord lives. By the time swelling tensions erupt, there's no turning back in this unrelenting psychological thriller based on actual events.
