Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Its title notwithstanding, this cartoon represents the third cartoon appearance of Eugene the Jeep, the impish, orchid-eating dog introduced in the daily "Popeye" comic strip by artist E.C. Segar. In this one, Popeye receives Eugene as a present from Olive Oyl, with an attached note warning him to make sure that the Jeep sleeps outside the house. But no matter how hard Popeye tries to put Eugene out for the night, the resourceful little Jeep repeatedly rematerializes on the other side of the door...almost as if by magic.
