Synopsis by Joshua Kochis
Thana (Thaneth Warakulnukrah), a middle-aged architect in Thailand, finds himself disillusioned with both his work and his relationship with his wife (Penpak Sirikul). While wandering the streets of Bangkok one day, he stumbles upon an elephant named Pop Aye that was once his childhood companion. He decides to take the elephant back to the rural village where they grew up, so that his uncle (Narong Pongpab) can take care of the creature. Written and directed by Kirsten Tan, this film embodies a journey towards fulfillment for both Thana and his old friend.
