Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Following up on his bizarre psychological drama Pagal, A.R. Kardar directs this complex character study of two sisters engaging in a very ambivalent relationship. At the film's outset, Rama (Akhtar) and Lachhi (Sitara Devi) are lonely and prone to getting into ugly fights with one another. When Rama's arranged marriage to Darpan (Zahur Raja) falls apart, her would be brother-in-law forces himself on Lachhi in revenge. Later, Lachhi is caring for her daughter Bina (Jyoti), while living again with her widowed sister Rama. Bina soon discovers that she is the child of not Lachhi, but a servant.
