Synopsis by Kimber Myers
Over the course of five years and 14,124 miles, Polly Letofsky raised more than $250,000 for breast cancer as she became the first woman to travel around the world by foot. This documentary captures her 22-country trip that took Letofsky from her native Minnesota to far-flung locales such as Turkey and New Zealand. With the help of Lions groups across the globe and the inspiration of women struggling to beat cancer, she kept walking despite exhaustion and isolation.
