Synopsis by Mark Deming
The Pokemon hit the beach, but it's not all fun in the sun in this collection of three episodes from the popular animated TV series. "Island of the Giant Pokemon" finds Pikachu and his Pokemon friends having to come to the rescue of their trainers when the humans are trapped on an island inhabited by dinosaurs. "Pokemon Shipwreck" sends Ash and Pikachu on an ocean cruise, only to be thrown into mortal danger when the ship capsizes. And "Tentacool and Tentacruel" pits Ash against a pack of angry Tentacruel after Team Rocket bungles a job to eliminate the Tentacool.
