Anti-communist forces in Bulgaria dealt brutally with an uprising in 1923 which included the communist party. Numerous important intellectuals went missing at the time, including poets Geo Milev and Hristo Yassenov. This film chronicles the events of those years, starting from the discovery of a mass grave in 1953, through to the retelling of the murderer's stories at their trials.
