Girl Next Door: The Search for a Playboy Centerfold was a reality TV special which featured 12 women, selected during a nationwide search, who vied for the honor of posing as Playmate of the Month in America's most prestigious men's magazine, Playboy. Not surprisingly, much of the footage shot for the show was too steamy for broadcast television, and Playboy: Who Wants to Be a Playboy Centerfold takes a closer look at this hard-fought competition, as well as the beautiful women who took part in it.
