Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

Man Ji is a South Korean college student studying in Los Angeles. He is being summoned to return to Korea to pay his last respects to his dying father. He arrives too late and is informed by his mother that his father, a wealthy industrialist, has died. Min Woo is an illegitimate son of the dead man, and he attends the funeral arranged by Man Ji, who is forced by circumstances to take the position of "chief mourner." His old high-school chums are awkward in handling traditional mourning customs but offer money at the door to express their sorrow like everyone else. Even the old man's mistress shows up to pay her respects. Korean funeral rites and the behavior of the mourners are satirized in this comedy drama.
