Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Director Seamus Murphy's unconventional music documentary explores the transnational inspirations behind his friend English singer-songwriter "PJ Harvey"’s 2016 album, “The Hope Six Demolition Project.” Harvey accompanied Murphy on his trips to Afghanistan, Kosovo, and Washington D.C., writing down lines of poetry as he took photos. She then recorded her album – in the form of an unorthodox art experiment – in Somerset House, London.
