Synopsis by Bhob Stewart
Bruno Stagnaro directed this Argentine drama, set in an impoverished district outside Buenos Aires, about a group of teens -- dumb Megabom (Alejandro Pous), asthmatic Pablo (Jorge Sesan), gawky Frula (Walter Diaz), and Sandra (Pamela Jordan), the pregnant girlfriend of El Cordobes (Hector Anglada). When the gang robs a legless man, Sandra is arrested, promising to leave El Cordobes if he doesn't straighten out. Instead, the youth acquires a gun and borrows a 1971 Ford Fairlane in preparation for a restaurant heist. Shown at the 1998 San Sebastian Film Festival.
