Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), a Spaniard by birth, became one of the most important figures in modern art, arguably the most important. He had a long, distinguished, and lucrative career. Picasso not only worked as a painter and sculptor but also revitalized the use of ceramics as an art form. This French documentary focuses primarily on his paintings and sketches, and examines the development of his distinctive style.
