An 11-year-old boy (voice of Gaspard Gagnol) undergoing treatment for cancer discovers that he has the ability to leave his hospitalized body and float around New York City as a spirit. Phantom Boy was directed by Jean-Loup Felicioli and Alain Gagnol, whose previous work, 2010's A Cat in Paris, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
