Floyd (Rufe Davis) has fallen for a "mystery woman", going so far as to serenade her with his guitar. Approaching Steve (Mike Minor) with the good news, Floyd talks him into a double wedding when Steve walks down the aisle with Betty Jo (Linda Kaye). Only after the arrangements have been made is it revealed that Floyd's prospective bride is none other than Selma Plout (Elvia Allman), the arch-rival of Betty Jo's mother Kate (Bea Benaderet)!
