Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This heavily dramatic Fox special stars William Farnum. Robert Moore (Farnum) is a general manager for the company owned by John Gibson (Wallace Erskine). Gibson enjoys coming over to the Moore home and playing with his employee's two children. But there's talk around the company that he is more interested in Moore's wife, Martha (Sally Crute). Moore beats up the main gossiper and goes to Gibson to suggest that he stop coming to visit. But Moore is found later, holding a revolver and looking down at Gibson's dead body. Although he swears his innocence, he is convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Martha remarries during this time, but her new husband is a brute who throws her son out of the house as soon as he is old enough, and is constantly mean to her daughter. The real killer finally confesses and Moore is allowed to go free. But his spirit is so broken that he begs the warden to let him stay behind bars. He is told to visit his ex-wife and he shows up just in time to save her from an attack by her husband. He turns his wrath on Moore, and Moore kills him in self-defense.
