Synopsis by Tana Hobart
Studded with the personal memories of such dignitaries as Japanese Prime Minister Kiichi Miyazawa, President George Bush, former news reporter Eric Sevareid, and Hawaii's Senator Daniel Inouye, this is an ABC News documentary which covers the attack on Pearl Harbor 50 years prior to the making of this tape. Working with the ABC News team is NHK, the Japanese television network, and this presentation includes footage and stills from the archives of both news entities along with interviews from more than 20 Pearl Harbor survivors -- Japanese and American.
