One man's solitary journey across country is captured on digital video in this impressionistic documentary from filmmakers Clarissa Campolina and Helvécio Marins Jr. Liberio is a man from Brazil who decides to leave his home in Pernambuco and hits the road. Walking along the highways as he makes his way from one end of the country to the other, Liberio has no clear path or purpose in mind other than the beauty of the countryside and the joy of his adventure. Trecho (aka Passage) was screened in competition at the 2007 Rotterdam International Film Festival.
