Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
With dialogue spoken in the dialect of Spanish used in Estremadura, this drama examines the life of a man who, in a psychopathic frenzy, kills his dog, his horse, his mother, and local citizens, before being captured by soldiers and executed. The story is based on the book La Familia de Pascual Duarte by Camilio Jose Cela.
