Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The heroes of this three-reel Selig western are a pair of rodeo performers, stranded in a one-horse town after their Wild West show goes belly-up. Fleeced by a pair of good-time gals, the boys are unable to pay their bar tab and end up cooling their heels in jail. Once released, the two pals decide to join the army, if only to know where their next meal is coming from. They are shipped to a remote frontier outpost, which is already a hotbed of intrigue due to the commanding officer's lust for the wife of one of his officers. In David-Bathshebe-Uriah fashion, the officer tries to eliminate the husband by sending him off on a suicide mission, then he conspires with the local Indians to make sure that his rival does not return alive. But our two cowboy heroes, who know nothing of all this skullduggery, end up saving the day for everyone. The two leading roles were filled by Tom Mix and Bob Anderson, the former on the verge of big-time screen stardom, and the latter on the brink of obscurity.
