Synopsis by Josh Ralske

McManus (Terry Kinney) meets with Morales (David Zayas) and Redding (Anthony Chisholm), and makes them call a truce. Redding knows that Hill (Harold Perrineau Jr.) tipped off the authorities about his murderous plans, but he decides to let Hill live. Galson (John Doman) becomes Redding's cellmate, and the two Vietnam vets form a bond. McManus forgives White (Michael Wright) for stabbing him, and tells White he can go back to Em City if he quits drugs. Basil (Lance Reddick) and his wife have a tearful reunion, but Hughes (Seth Gilliam) later stabs Basil for insulting him. Beecher (Lee Tergesen) is worried about being paroled. "If I get out, who will I be," he asks Sister Pete (Rita Moreno). He misses Keller (Christopher Meloni), so Pete arranges a phone call. Catherine McCain (Sandra Purpuro) tells Beecher he has a good shot at parole, and the two flirtatiously make plans to meet on the outside. Schillinger (J.K. Simmons) meets his infant granddaughter, but later an inmate, Bennett (rap star Master P), tells him that Hank pimped out Carrie (Jenna Lamia), so the baby isn't necessarily his. Said (Eamon Walker) wants Robson (R.E. Rodgers) punished for the attempt on his life, but he has no evidence. He convinces Cloutier (Luke Perry) to get Jenkins (Joshua Harto) to testify against Robson, but after the Aryans threaten Jenkins, he kills himself, and Schillinger lets Cloutier know he's overstepped his bounds. McManus challenges former NBA star Vayhue (Rick Fox) to a special game of two-on-two. Deyell's (Erik King) plot to escape his death sentence goes awry. Padraic Connelly (Brian F. O'Byrne), an IRA member awaiting extradition, arrives in Em City, and quickly antagonizes O'Reily (Dean Winters). With Cyril (Scott William Winters) growing more unstable, O'Reily asks Dr. Nathan (Lauren Velez) to help them escape.
