Our Future Generation is a 26-part series featuring young people from diverse backgrounds who share their hopes, dreams, and everyday concerns. Topics touch on a multitude of issues ranging from pregnancy to prayer in the classroom. The series is written by teens with the aim of helping young people to understand their commonality. Our Future Generation: Eating Disorders examines disorders such as bulimia nervosa, anorexia nervosa, binge and compulsive eating, problems afflicting millions and which take the life of thousands of individuals each year. Signs and symptoms of eating disorders are presented. Also brought to light is the fact that eating disorders are a growing problem among boys. A young male sufferer speaks frankly about his experience and how it has impacted his life.
