Troubled artist Karen and unfulfilled yuppie Kyle are both nearing breaking points in their disjointed lives. Meeting by chance one night on a bus, the two are mugged and left for dead, only to awaken having been brought to an abandoned church by a kind passerby. They come to with no memory of who they are, and with an emotional clean slate, they fall in love. Their amnesia is not permanent, however, and when they remember their former lives they will face a choice: should they return to their former selves or continue with their new lives?
