Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This documentary was filmed at the Delaware Valley Mental Health Foundation and deals with the various problems of mental illness. A process called "reality confrontation" is used to try and reverse the psychotic episodes of four patients over a time span of a year-and-a-half. The patients actually live with the psychiatrist as they help pioneer new avenues of treatment for mental illness. This documentary was nominated for an Academy Award.
