Synopsis by Jack Rodgers
Comedy writer David (Jesse Plemons), already struggling with career frustrations and a painful breakup with his boyfriend, returns home to Sacramento to care for his cancer-stricken mother (Molly Shannon). There, he and his family bond as his mom decides to quit chemotherapy and accept death on her own terms. Bradley Whitford co-stars. Saturday Night Live writer Chris Kelly makes his feature directorial debut with this family drama, which received its world premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
