Synopsis by Janiss Garza

It appears that a bit more care went into the making of this picture than the usual Jack Hoxie Western. A party of pioneers, including John Cavanaugh (William McCall) and his daughter, Lucille (Mary McAllister), are attacked by Indians. The pioneers are rescued by a rival tribe, led by their chief, White Elk (Hoxie). Although he has already promised to take Silver Waters (Marin Sais) as his mate, White Elk is attracted to Lucille. Black Panther (Jack Pratt), meanwhile, intends to steal Silver Waters away. Ben Harper (William Welsh) tricks White Elk, who signs away the Indians' lands to him. When his tribe discovers what he has done, they tie him to the stake, but a rainstorm puts out the fire. White Elk frees himself and saves the white people from the attacking Indians. It is revealed that White Elk is actually white, and was adopted by the tribe as a baby when a group of settlers were massacred. He saves Lucille, who has been tied to a canoe by Black Panther and sent floating toward the falls. White Elk and Lucille are united, and Silver Waters gives him up.
