In this absurdist comedy, a professor and his wife are hard at work building an monstrous giant clock, to be powered by a steam engine. They live and work in a huge factory building. This important work is interrupted one night when the professor hears something on the roof. He spends many hours hiding on top of the building in hopes of capturing That Thing.
