Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

Filmed in three weeks with a budget of $44,000, this feature finds a young orphaned woman escaping from a convent to go it alone. She earns a living by making and selling artificial flowers. She falls in love with a carnival worker named Louis, but love is not the first thing on his mind. He is obsessed with having the body of his father, a suicide victim, buried on holy ground, and he goes to the local priest who refuses his request "over his dead body." When the priest dies, he buries the cleric under the coffin of his father before skipping merrily away with the young flower girl. The film was banned in the Catholic regions of Holland because of the theme and the actual filming of a graveside service.
