Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Tetsuro Tamba, Haruko Wanibuchi star in the Japanese One-Eyed Swordsman. The Samurai hero unfortunately pays no heed to the old warning "You'll put your eye out." But the loss of his depth perception slows him down not a whit. Even when an eyeball short, he offers formidable opposition to the film's Shogun villains. One-Eyed Swordsman is fast-moving enough to make its 95 minutes seem to fly by.
