Surrounded by Christmas decorations and preparations Lily tells Jake that she wants to finalize their divorce. He pressures her to give their marriage another chance and is confused at her adamancy -- having just spent the night together. Later, Lily confesses her betrayal to Rick, telling him that she had a one-night stand with Jake. Rick is devastated and unable to forgive and forget. Their relationship is ended right in time for the holidays.
